Matthias M. Schweiger helps clients with international liability cases, collective actions and dispute resolution. He handles court cases at all instances and brings experience in complex product liability litigation, consumer claims and mass tort litigation, supply chain disputes, proceedings before the European Court of Justice, international conflicts of laws and jurisdiction. He represented and advised clients in more than hundred court hearings on all court levels, including the European Court of Justice. Matthias assists clients with navigating and coordinating liability claims and advises on defense strategy, legal project and crisis management. He has expertise in managing mass tort cases with a multitude of claims.

Matthias is a recommended lawyer for commercial litigation and product liability. He advises clients from different industries and is said to be "well versed in dealing with life sciences sector work including pharmaceutical and medical device-related matters" (Legal 500 Germany, 2018). Matthias is a member of the firm's Class Actions Group and has published on, inter alia, collective actions in Europe, product liability and procedural law. As Co-Head of the firm's Digital Health Working Group he also provides clients expertise in the arena of digital health product liability.
